Vyerith. Drow negotiating with Grol for Gundren’s map on behalf of the Black Spider. Want’s to interrogate Gundren but will kill if thinks Gundren may escape her clutches. Dagger +6 to hit, 4 damage on hit the target must make a DC 12 Constitution saving throw. If unsuccessful take 8 poison damage if successful take 4 poison damage.
Strong Start #
Night lays heavy around a ruined castle in a wide clearing. The surrounding pine trees are quiet as tendrils of mist creep from the castle clearing into the undergrowth. A chorus of frogs provides a background music occasionally punctuated by the screech of a bird of prey finding it’s dinner and thunder as heat lightning arcs overhead in the blanket of clouds above.
A short distance away two lonely figures rush stealthily through the trees along the main road leading from the Triboar Trail toward the castle.
Outside of the ruins we find Dymphna waiting for her companions near a canvas covered portion of the castle wall that has succumbed to the rigors of time. The mists swirl around the High Elf Maren as she stealthily takes her Grick friend out of the castle for some bonding time.
Inside the castle Erdan & Moonherb battle a Female Drow who appears to be bloodied, but definitely not out of the fight. She draws a dagger who’s blade glints in the flickering torchlight DC 10 perception check for poison as she looks toward the crumpled form of the Dwarf.
In the mess hall King Grol pauses momentarily to tell his Goblin companion; who is really Ani disguised magically, to return to his rooms to check on the thunderous boom that just echoed through the keep as he continues to stride purposefully with his wolf in tow toward the entrance hall and the disturbance within.
In the entrance hall we find Khers rushing from one of the watchmen rooms with his Battle Axe dripping gore, knowing that while he has vanquished his foe he has also alerted the surrounding rooms of some sort of commotion.

- Resolve fight and rouse Gundren. Gundren will insist on retrieving his map before leaving. It is in a small lock box under Grol’s bed.
